After an entire year full of “no, I’ll never do it” type of thoughts, I think I’ve finally found the motivation to do it. That motivation is, ‘not having much to do’. I’m talking about blogging. I’ve always thought blogging is not for everyone. That everyone starts enthusiastically, but more than half of the them end up writing for the sake of it. Either for marketing purposes, just habituated or the most common category viz. uninspired to do real work.
Lets look at this quote from Patanjali,
When you are inspired by some great purpose, some extraordinary project, all of your thoughts break their bonds; your mind transcends limitations, your consciousness expands in every direction and you find yourself in a new, great and wonderful world. Dormant forces, faculties and talents become alive and you discover yourself to be a greater person than you ever dreamed yourself to be.
So the logic is simple. Someone who does not have that kind of purpose, or looses the drive for one, does things like blogging. Unless, that purpose itself involves blogging. I fall in the same category right now. For a change today (in last one year), there isn’t much that really instigates me.
Therefore, I’m blogging. And I’m calling my blog ‘Outspoken Again’. I was very outspoken as a kid. But as I grew up and went away from family, the dogma of the outside world turn down the volume of my inner voice. The fire sort of diminished.
But It all came back after some life-changing events couple of years ago. And it turns out, that inner voice is still unreserved. That makes me rather outspoken. Hence the name.
Here, I intend to write what my inner voice says. About anything that I’m involved with. And hopefully, when my mind is on “some extraordinary project”, I’ll quit blogging. :)
